Over the years, our client’s clients wanted expanded choices and the ability to create personalized products by selecting accessories for a “base product”. The “base product” also had features that clients selected. When all the combinations and permutations of options were considered, stocking, assembling, and manufacturing the end-products became extremely complicated. This resulted in many failures to deliver clients’ orders accurately and on time.
Clients were unhappy. Employees were unhappy. The owners of the family business wanted to automate their manufacturing process.
