Client’s Challenging Situation:
A high-tech entrepreneur was building a very novel, new product and wanted us to create custom software for that project. The entrepreneur wanted assurance from us that details about the “secret” project would not be divulged. [Actually, this success story applies to many entrepreneurs…the details differ, however the concepts of valuable information, privacy/secrecy and need for full trust remain the same.]
Scope of the Problem:
The problem was not really a problem: it was a need for extra cyber security coupled with a need for an elevated level of trust between people.
Our Solution:
When trust must be at the highest level, we allow our clients to move at the pace they are comfortable, and we work to accommodate their requests to the full extent possible. For example, we work to sign legal paperwork that provides our client the comfort they seek. We offered, and our most-innovative clients often accepted, the use of our private cloud [data centre] as the repository for the software during its development. [Discerning clients often do not want to place intellectual property into big clouds.]
The Value Delivered:
Trust is sacred. Quality relationships are built on trust. We delivered trust, privacy, and protection as our clients requested. Clients achieved their goals, and we enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to their success. As trust grew, our most-innovative clients discussed their ideas. Whenever clients asked for our input, we shared our ideas to help them enhance their products. Clients incorporated many of our ideas.
